Designed with the waterfowl hunter in mind, the Fowler Vest has an 8.25 ounce waxed cotton shelter cloth outer shell that will develop a rich patina with wear. This insulated hunting vest features a detachable, insulated hood with adjustable drawstrings and scalloped shape for maximum visibility. Oversized front handwarmer pockets are lined with soft, warm moleskin. Front bellow pockets provide ample storage for shells and other essentials. The interior has three pockets, including one with a zipper closure to keep valuables secure. A liner inspired by Alabama red clay adds a touch of color to the interior, and a collar stand lined with soft corduroy provides welcome protection from the cold. Durable antique brass hardware snaps and two-way main zipper.

The Fowler waxed vest has a classic fit, similar to the Kinsman Vest, and a length ideal for wading and frequent up-down movements.

Your garment's thin waxed coating resists liquids and makes it relatively easy to clean. Waxed cotton should not be machine washed or dry cleaned and should be kept away from hot water and harsh detergents that will remove the wax coating. When spots occur, use a damp rag or soft bristle brush to gently buff out the stained area. If spots are particularly stubborn, use a castile soap and rinse with lukewarm water. Re-wax the area with Tom Beckbe's reproofing wax and hang to air dry in a warm place.

Generally, rinse dirt and debris by hand with cold water and air dry. Do not iron. Do not bleach. Do not dry clean. Do not machine wash. Do not use artificial heat to dry, expose to open flames, or hang on radiators.
