If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase from us, you may return it for exchange or for store credit within 30 days of delivery. We can only accept items that are in brand-new, unused condition, with all the original tags and original packaging. When trying on shoes please do so inside your house and preferably on carpet. Do not wear shoes after trying them on if you plan on returning them. Once clothing has been worn it cannot be returned. Final judgment of the item condition is at the sole discretion of The Mountain Outfitters. Any products returned to us that are found to be damaged, used, dirty, or in bad condition will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense. No items will be accepted for return after 30 days. Any items sold online with free shipping will be returned minus shipping at the customer's expense.
We do not accept returns on any climbing equipment (except climbing shoes in brand-new condition). This is for safety reasons. For reasons of hygiene we do not accept returns on underwear, swimwear, or socks.
All items sold at clearance (defined as items sold for 40% or more off the original retail price) are FINAL SALES.
We strive to ship your order within 1 business day after receiving and verifying your order and payment information. Generally, this means your order is packed and shipped to you within 24 hours (excluding weekends) after we receive your order. Delays can occur if we need to investigate mistakes made during the Checkout Process or any other irregularity. To avoid delays, please be sure to carefully complete and confirm the accuracy of the information you enter during account creation and during our on-line Checkout process before submitting your order. There are two pieces of information that must be included in the request: 1) copy of your invoice and 2) your contact information: email address (the one used to register with us), your phone number, and your shipping address.

We DO NOT accept C.O.D.'s on return items. Customers are responsible for return shipping charges. For your protection, we suggest you return your merchandise via UPS or insured Parcel Post. Don't forget to write down your tracking number and keep your shipping receipt for your records! That information might be helpful if there are problems with your shipment back to us.
Refunds: no cash refunds or credit account credits will be issued for any reason. If you have a manufacturer’s warranty issue please contact us at email@example.com or (931) 924-4100 and we will act as liaison between you, the customer, and the manufacturer.
Shipping Damage Any product received that has been damaged during shipping must be reported to us immediately. Call to notify us of the damage. We will contact the shipping carrier and have the shipment picked up. Please leave the package in the condition you received it in. You must retain the original box. All claims are processed through the carrier.
